Thank You PTA
Thank you to the PTA for making it possible for award-winning author Candace Fleming to visit Emerson! We had a wonderful time learning about how Ms. Fleming finds ideas for her stories everywhere she goes and how many times she rewrote her text to make it great!
We have some amazing things in store for students in the Emerson Library!
Kindergarten and 1st grade students will be getting ready to vote for the Monarch award by reading the award-nominated books in the library.
Second graders will be extending their classroom unit on body systems with a creative project in our Eagle Innovation Station.
Third graders will extend their learning on the economy be creating commercials using iMovie on our iPads.
Fourth graders will start the year with a Frosty Breakout EDU (an escape room for education).
Fifth graders will be finishing up coding projects in Scratch and then extending their learning with Makey-Makey Invention Kits.
